Young Storyhouse – Group 6

Young Storyhouse are based in Chester. They have 6 groups taking part in season 3 of Positive Stories for Negative Times and are excited to be involved because Young Storyhouse run a variety of programmes including schools partnerships, youth theatre and holiday activities. We think these programmes in particular would benefit from Positive Stories for Negative Times.. They will be working towards creating a Full stage production of the scripts. Young Storyhouse is a part of Storyhouse in Chester. Storyhouse is a cultural hub consisting of two theatres, a cinema and library all under the same roof.

Edinburgh Academy – EA Drama 3F

The Edinburgh Academy are based in Edinburgh. They have 3 groups taking part in Season 3 of Positive Stories for Negative Times and are excited to be involved because we have taken part in the project for the past two years and we totally love the fresh ideas and opportunity to work with new scripts. 

They will be working towards creating a Full stage production of And The Name for That Is…?. 

The Edinburgh Academy is an independent school which was opened in 1824. We are a co- educational school for 2 to 18 year olds. Housed on two colourful characterful sites near the centre of Scotland’s capital.

Highland Youth Theatre – HYT Seniors 16+

Highland Youth Theatre are based in Forres, Moray. They have 2 groups taking part in Season 3 of Positive Stories for Negative Times and are excited to be involved because we have a large Senior Youth Theatre group who are ready for their next challenge. I think this could be it!

They will be working towards creating a Full stage production of Ms Campbell’s Class Fourth Period. 

Highland Youth Theatre (HYT) based in the North East of Scotland, works extensively with children and young people aged 3-18years. Through drama, theatre and creative practices we aim to develop confidence and self esteem, build resilience and nurture talent all whilst providing a space for children and young people to feel safe, included and creatively thrive.

ZigZag Theatre – Coomera Ensemble

ZigZag Theatre are based in Bundall. They have 5 groups taking part in season 3 of Positive Stories for Negative Times and are excited to be involved because We took part last year and had so much fun.  They will be working towards creating a Full stage production of The Day the Stampers United. More about ZigZag Theatre are a youth theatre company based on the Gold Coast, Australia. We facilitate weekly drama and musical theatre classes for ages 3 up to 18.
